These terms govern registration for the 2027 summer tennis camp run by Carolina Tennis Camp, LLC (“we”, “the camp”). We trade as Carolina Tennis School. When you register a camper, the registration form asks you to accept them, and we record that you did and which version you accepted (the date at the top of this page). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Who runs the camp

Carolina Tennis Camp, LLC runs the camp. As the camp release states, it is a privately run sports camp: it is not operated by or through The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and it is not sponsored, controlled or supervised by the University.

2. Who can register

Accounts are for parents and legal guardians aged 18 or older. Camp is for ages 8–17. When you register a camper you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and that you are 18 or older.

3. 2027 sessions and prices

Day camp is $745 a week and overnight camp $1,045 a week. Overnight weeks (July 11–15 and July 18–22) are booked as overnight camp. What each week includes is described on the Sessions page. A week that is full can’t be booked online.

4. Registering and paying

Registering reserves your camper’s place in that week. Nothing is due when you register: you pay the balance online, by card or from a bank account, any time before the week begins, from your family dashboard. The price is the one shown when you register. Payments are taken by Stripe on its checkout page; we never see or store your card or bank details. A bank payment takes a few business days to clear, and counts as paid once it does. Online payment closes when the week starts.

5. Changing weeks and cancelling

While registration is open, you can move your camper to another week from your dashboard if that week has room and hasn’t started. The new week’s price then applies: if it costs more, the difference is added to your balance; if you’ve paid more than it costs, you can request a refund of the difference (section 6). You can cancel a registration from your dashboard until its week starts. Cancelling releases your camper’s place straight away.

6. Refunds

Refund policy. Refunds are not automatic: you can request one, and camp staff review every request individually.

You can request a refund when you cancel a registration, when you move to a week that costs less than you’ve paid, or by emailing carolinatennisschool@yahoo.com. If a payment reaches us for a week that has been cancelled, or for more than the week costs, a refund request for it is opened for you.

7. Overnight weeks and day camp

Overnight weeks are booked as overnight camp. Camp staff may switch a camper on an overnight week to day camp; the registration is then re-priced at the day rate. If you have already paid more than the day rate, a refund request for the difference is opened for you and reviewed like any other (section 6). If staff switch a camper back to overnight camp, any difference is added to your balance.

8. Camp forms

Every camper needs three completed forms: medical form (physician-signed), insurance and camp release. Download them from our Forms page, complete them, and upload them when you register or later from your family dashboard, before your camper’s week starts. The medical and insurance forms each state that a camper can’t take part until that form is completed and signed.

9. Health and safety

A certified athletic trainer is on site during camp. As the insurance form states, every camper must have their own medical coverage, and the camp provides only excess coverage, after your own policy has been used. On the insurance form and the camp release, the parent or guardian who signs gives camp staff permission to seek medical attention for the camper in the event of an accident, injury or illness.
